>The Kult Movie and Novel

One of my favourite UK authors,  Shaun Jeffrey is in the the process of having his novel The Kult turned into a Hollywood movie.

Here is the synopsis from the films website

“People are predictable. That’s what makes them easy to kill.”
“The Kult” is a horror/thriller that weaves a terrifying tale of the hunt for a serial killer. A photo depicting the grisly murder of a young woman sets the story in motion, drawing the attention of Detective Prosper Snow who is assigned to investigate the apparent homicide. When a second photo is sent to the police, the stakes are raised. A potential serial killer is on the loose, and it’s Prosper’s job to stop him or her.
On top of this, Prosper’s group of childhood friends contacts him for a meeting. Acting out of misguided loyalty to them, Prosper is goaded into helping perform a copycat killing. But when the real killer comes after him, it’s not only his life on the line, but his family’s too. If he goes to his colleagues for help, he risks being arrested for murder. If he doesn’t, he risks being killed.
The screenplay was written by Danielle Kaheaku and Robert Hunter.

The movie is directed by Kip Shelton and the films’ website is here The Kult
