>Blood Oath – Christopher Farnsworth

OK, this is going to be a quick one.  A vampire bound by voodoo magic to serve the US, and it’s presidents, battles the reanimated corpses of US soldiers, assigned a rookie liaison officer, oh and Victor Frankenstein makes an appearance.

This is probably the most derivative novel ever written, cough cough, Hellboy.  However, it was fun fast paced novel. While bringing nothing new to the genre it does read better than the vast majority of vampire novels out there.

  1. >There was a time I looked for deep meaning and literary merit in a novel, but now I'm more than satisfied by a book that's entertaining. That's too rare these days. I'll check it out.
