>Back to work
>Well that’s the second week of being back at work over. God I hate light duties. I am meant for physical work, with intermittent periods of thinking .
One of the main reasons I gave up being a veterinary virologist was I couldn’t stand not being active at work. That and the sad state of affairs, of being able to earn more money working as a nightshift manager in a supermarket, than as the senior virologist in a leading diagnostic lab. Five years at university, with a first class degree really paid off.
But on the bright side I now earn more money and work less hours, only four nights a week.
